Who holds your data
Mobitoss runs SquareBooks. The books and documents of a business belong to that business; its CA works on them with the business's agreement.
What we keep about you
Your name, mobile number and email; a photo if you add one; when and where you sign in; your notification settings; and what you agree to in the app.
Why
To sign you in, keep the books and file returns, and send you the reminders and alerts that come with that. We send no marketing unless you ask for it.
Who sees it
People in your firm, and the businesses you work with (or your CA, if you're a business). Your photo shows only to them. We never sell data.
How long
While you use SquareBooks. If you delete your account we erase your details after 30 days. A business's books and tax records are kept for as long as GST and tax law asks (about 8 years), then deleted.

On servers in India.
This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or advertising tools. When you ask for a demo we keep the details you type (name, firm, mobile, email, the number of clients and your message) only to get back to you, for up to 12 months, then delete them. Our servers keep short technical logs (such as the page asked for and the time) to keep the site running and safe.
Your rights
See and download your data, correct it, delete your account, choose which reminders you get, and withdraw your agreement (which means stopping use). Complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.
